BSE Families: Monday, October 14th & Tuesday, October 15th we invite grandparents/VIP's to breakfast at the grade level assigned times below. 10/14 -Kindergarten 8:30am, 3rd grade 8:50am, 4th grade 9:10am 10/15 -5th grade 8:30am, 1st grade 8:50am, 2nd grade 9:10am Breakfast will be Biscuits & Gravy $2.50 per meal, cash or check only. The Book Fair will be open both days, cash or card accepted. Please be sure grandparents arrive at the assigned breakfast time for the grade level & they will enter through the cafeteria (north) doors. 4th graders at Bonner Springs Elementary had an amazing day at BizTown! 🏙️ After learning about economics in class, students had the opportunity to run their own city, take on jobs, make and spend money, and learn what it means to be a great citizen. BizTown is an extension of the Junior Achievement program, a curriculum centered on work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Such a fun, hands-on way to bring classroom lessons to life!

On Thursday, our BSE kindergartners took a walking field trip to the library. They made flowers to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

🚀 Our young scientists launched into action today! After learning how rockets work and exploring two different launch methods, our OWL elementary students put their knowledge to the test by shooting off rockets today at Delaware Ridge Elementary. Even better? A few of their peers got to enjoy the exciting display during recess! 🌟

Even when it's chilly out, National Walk to School day is fun! Thanks to all who joined for the walk!

Join BSE for our annual Walk to School Day 2024! 👟👟👟 🟠Mr. Bragg and other staff members along with our SRO Deputy Coon & Bonner Springs Parks & Rec will assist students in walking from Lion's Park to BSE on Wednesday, October 2nd. 🟠 Parents: You do not need to sign up for this event. Drop your student(s) off at Lion's Park on October 2nd at 7:45am. You can walk with your student(s) but you will have to walk back if you leave your car. 👟👟👟

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a splash of color and creativity! Our Bonner Springs Elementary students have been creating beautiful Papel Picado banners in art class while learning about the cultural significance of this traditional Mexican folk art.

Today was our first Brave Buddies!

Our Girls on the Run group has started! We are thrilled with the opportunity to offer this program to our third through fifth girls!

Our first set of student have passed 20 iReady lessons! Each student works through math and reading lessons, which are set to their individual lessons! Way to go BSE Braves! Each student got a certificate and got to write their names on our celebration wall!
