Bonner Springs/Edwardsville Unified School District 204 along with Vaughn-Trent Community Services & Jerry Lee Jarret Life Center will be collecting Food Donations at the Bonner Springs Walmart Saturday, 9/7 & Saturday, 9/21. 🧡🖤These donations will benefit our own community and students!

REMINDER: There will be no school for all USD 204 students on September 2nd and 3rd. Classes will resume on Wednesday, September 4th. Wishing everyone a fun and safe long weekend!

Your student is invited on an upcoming educational travel experience abroad! We are thrilled to inform you that our school is organizing multiple exciting trips for our students, offering them valuable educational and experiential opportunities. We will be holding informational meetings to discuss these experiences. The itinerary, activities, dates, academic opportunities, and costs will be covered at the meeting. BSE Families, You are invited to BSE School Supply Drop Off on Wednesday, August 14th from 4:30pm-6:00pm. All families will be able to meet their child’s teacher & drop off school supplies at anytime during these hours. Teacher assignments will be released in Skyward on Wednesday morning. We look forward to seeing you all!

We welcomed all staff back this week with the annual USD 204 Convocation event! We heard from our friends at the Chamber of Commerce, the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville Education Foundation distributed Walmart gift cards to all teachers, counselors, and nurses, and First State Bank & Trust presented the district with earnings from the School Spirit Debit Card Program! The event wrapped up with celebrations, honoring our longest-serving staff and welcoming the new faces to our USD 204 family. Finally, Superintendent Rick Moulin shared his vision for the year ahead, and staff shared their own excitement to be entering a new BRAVE era!

Welcome to USD 204! 🧡🖤 This week a new group of educators joined our BRAVE school community.

Our enrollment fair kicks off today at Bonner Springs High School! Take care of all your back to school tasks, enroll your new or returning student, and pick up FREE school supplies from 1-8 PM. You can also stop in tomorrow from 8 AM - noon!

New this year! There will be a special Kindergarten Orientation morning to help get our youngest Braves ready. Drop off your Kindergarten student on Wednesday, August 14th at 8:15am where they will get to know their school, teachers, classmates, and others at BSE! This is for students only. Pick up will be 11:30am. We can't wait to meet them!

We're looking forward to welcoming BRAVE families to our enrollment fair next week! All NEW students, preschool-12th grade, will enroll during this time. Returning families that need support, internet access, or have questions, are also encouraged to stop in. In addition to our enrollment stations, we will have... ✏️School supplies for those in need - courtesy of our incredible community partners (while supplies last!). 🍎Food service staff will be available to accept applications for free/reduced meals. 🚌Transportation staff will be available to sign students up for bus routes. 📱District staff will be available to answer questions about the new USD 204 app and the Rooms platform. 🏀Staff from our 6-12th grade athletics department will be available for team sign-ups, collecting physicals/paperwork, and answering questions. 💙Local community organizations will be in attendance sharing resources and helping families and students prepare for the new school year. The event will take place Tuesday, August 6th from 1 - 8 PM and Wednesday, August 7th from 8 AM - 12 PM at Bonner Springs High School (100 McDanield St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012).
