BSE Girls on the Run students rocked their 5k last weekend! Thanks to the Education Foundation and the BSE PTO for their grants so our girls can participate in this program. Girls on the Run has fun, evidence -based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others. We appreciate all the staff and community members who participate in the training program and 5k with our students!

BSE 5th graders, Charley, Lucy, Maggie and Avery along with Mr. Bragg have coached their tiny tumblers each Wednesday this month! 🤸♀️🤸♂️ The Kindergarten through 2nd grade tiny tumblers have learned many new skills from their coaches. Such as, handstands, cartwheels, backbends, and forward rolls. 🤸♀️🤸♀️

🎒✨ Our preschool students from across USD 204 had an amazing time visiting their future elementary schools this week! They explored kindergarten classrooms, met new friends, and are so excited for their big transition this fall! 🧡
📣 Don’t forget — Kindergarten Information Night is coming up on Tuesday, April 22nd from 6:00–7:00 PM at all three elementary schools. If your child turns 5 on or before August 31, 2025, this is a must-attend event to get ready for the 2025–26 school year!
Our district wide Major Saver Fundraising Campaign is going on now! A Major Saver representative will stop by the school office beginning Wednesday, April 16th to award cards and prizes to students who have turned in their orders. Orders may be turned in each morning until Thursday, April 24th and students will receive their cards and prizes the same day. Please be sure to check your child's backpack for the cards. If you have family from out of town they can purchase cards online from other areas and your student will receive the credit and prizes! All online orders will be mailed to the customer.
