We are so proud of our Bonner Springs Elementary Girls on the Run team! 🎉💖 BSE just wrapped up its 3rd season with Girls on the Run, an incredible nationwide program designed to help girls build confidence, develop healthy habits, and discover their inner strength. Through a fun, uplifting curriculum, participants learn about teamwork, goal-setting, communication, managing emotions, and celebrating what makes them unique — all while training for a 5K! ✨ This past weekend, the team celebrated the end of the season with a 5K event, and our girls absolutely crushed it! 🏃‍♀️💨 Their dedication, positivity, and growth throughout the season truly shined on race day. Huge congratulations to all of our runners — your hard work and determination inspire us all! 🌟👏

🎭 SAVE THE DATE! 🎭 The Bonner Springs High School Theatre Department proudly presents Grease! 💃🕺 Directed by Mr. Zachary Shoemaker, this year’s musical brings the energy, music, and spirit of Grease to the BSHS stage! The Bonner Springs VFW came out to teach the fifth graders how to fold a flag! Our fifth graders will then present their new learning at the Veterans Day assembly on November 11th. We would love for all to join us!

🍁 Every Thanksgiving season, Feed His Lambs provides Thanksgiving meals to local families. Each school in the Bonner Springs Edwardsville school district partners with Feed His Lambs as a community wide service learning project.

🍂Edwardsville, Bonner Springs & Delaware Ridge Elementary schools collect various items that are used to complete Thanksgiving meals. We are asking grade levels to bring in the following Thanksgiving specific items during our food drive:

🦃 Kindergarten - Boxed Mac & Cheese
🦃 1st Grade - Canned Cranberry Sauce
🦃 2nd Grade - Canned Gravy
🦃 3rd Grade - Canned Corn
🦃 4th Grade - Instant Mashed Potatoes

BSE PTO Butter Braid fundraiser is going on now! Order forms with payment are due October 31st. The orders will be available for pick up at BSE on November 13th.

BSE 1st graders are collecting new or gently used coats to donate to the Jerry Lee Jarrett Life Center in Bonner Springs. You can drop off your donations in the BSE Office through Thursday, Oct. 30th. Kids & Adult sizes are accepted.
